ATOMIC CITY

An international interdisciplinary theatre collaboration between Jon Morris and Danish theatre company Terra Nova (www.t-nova.org) featuring award winning actors, dancers and musicians from Sweden, Germany, Denmark, and Guatemala.  This world-premier tragic-comedy is inspired by the literary works of Haruki Murakami and Oak Ridge, TN, my birthplace and the birthplace of the Atomic Bomb.


A recipe for pie and one for destruction: On a patch of grass, accompanied by original live music, euro-crash dance, magical realism text, acrobatics, water guns, and a living wall, this tragic comedy unfolds. Atomic City’s world-premier opened LaMaMa ETC’s 47th season in the Annex theatre Sept. 11 - 28th, 2008.
