The Windmill Factory Loft

 

The Challenge: To create a versatile live work space by building a lofted bedroom in a space with only 13 ft. Ceilings.


Solution: Make a loft bedroom for a little person or an acrobat.  Design by Jon Morris & Tim Ottman (neon artist and handyman extraordinaire.)


In 3 weeks Tim Ottman built a beautiful 3rd bedroom with the help of Scott Nankivel, Nelson Rockwood, Jacob Robinnet, Billy Mullholland, and Gwyn Larsen, and several others.


The Windmill Factory is now home to a 20’ X 20’ hard wood floor 13’ ceiling studio space.  Home to film screenings, Nylon Collective’s theatre company’s rehearsal/performance venue, events, dance & yoga classes, theatre workshops, Windmill Factory and Grouded Aerial Office Space, impromptu dance parties, and much more to come.
